We were in the right place at the right time, lucky enough to be staying in Sarlat during Stage 8 of the Tour de France.
We were completely captivated. The atmosphere was incredible and seeing the riders fly past in person gave us a whole new appreciation for what they do.
Our hats are off to every cyclist powering through the French countryside in 38°C heat. What an achievement.
If you ever get the chance to watch the Tour de France in person, we’d absolutely recommend it. It’s an experience we won’t forget.
As the Tour comes to an end, we’re feeling even more grateful that we got to experience a little part of it. 🇫🇷
