the late 70s Yvars Paris racer bike I shared a few weeks ago, I've cleaned it up, got some new clincher wheels as the tubular wheels were in a real bad state when I got them off. New (old) brakes and levers, plus a new saddle, tyres and bottle cage. Some nice Grepp washable handlebar tape too. I kept the original paint and used gold rust stop paint on the damaged areas kind of like Japanese Kintsuge. There is an issue with the freehub i'm investigating as it slips on the topmost gear, i think I will need to replace it as the little internal stops must be worn.
