The legal speed limit for electric bikes is 15.5mph. Illegally modified bikes such as the ones in this video are capable of speeds in excess of 60mph.

Tracked from above by the National Police Air Service, this pair were caught tearing through public parks, over sports pitches and past vehicles on public roads, putting innocent passers-by in Doncaster at serious risk.

After they ditched their bikes officers from South Yorkshire Police’s Motorcycle and Rural Crime Team were on them within seconds. The bikes were seized and both riders, aged 16 and 17, have been reported on summons for driving offences.

New police powers mean riders like these now risk losing their vehicles for good. Officers can seize bikes used anti-socially without a warning – and have them destroyed in as little as 7 days.

  1. Nga this is so wasteful that helicopter should be for FELONIES not traffic shit. Needing a helicopter to enforce traffic over some dumb bikes is stupid. Nga go catch a kidnapper or something. How can they tract bikes but not rapists, robbers, kidnappers, ect. Like bro, there’s a child being molested go work on that and worry about the bikes later bud.
