Man Canyon seems to have a way better track record on road bikes. In the MTB world they have a long history of bikes snapping repeatedly in the same few areas and Canyon just not doing anything about it. (The Spectral was and in some ways still is affected by this. The Torque was also a massive magnet for cracks and linkage rattling loose). For anyone reading, stay away from Canyon MTBs they don't cost that much less than some better alternatives and save money in some areas where nobody looks and problems don't become apparent within usual bike magazine tests. These problems will down the line bite you in the butt though. I'm talking creaky frames, badly sealed bearings, atrocious QC and some of the worst customer service I have experienced yet.
I tried to order the €999 Endurance version, but it got delayed three times, so I canceled.
Fun fact: All the more expensive models (from €1,400 upwards) are in stock.
It almost feels like Canyon is luring customers in with the cheaper model, delaying it until they give up and end up ordering a pricier one. I switched to Rose instead. F-Them.
Please consider making more varied content, I feel like recently its 10 things that, 15 hacks this, podcast with news, and again. Like we got stuck in a loop. Strength of this channel was always people and communities, lockdowns ended but you stayed in the studio. I understand that life changes and we grow up, but isnt it why its not just Francis now? Love you, please dont stagnate. ❤
Fun fact: Canyon emtb bike owners in the 750w range have been waiting for new batteries for more than a year. We were told that the models currently in our bikes were a safety hazard. Nuts,eh
I wonder if their carbon bikes are fit for purpose and be ridden, but rather hung on a wall for ‘art’ considering the amount of issues with these. I would take this company to a small claims court for compensation if my bike failed whilst using it. Not good for price.
Hi. You know what else is strange? You can't buy a longer stem for a 5,000-euro frame from 2023. The Aeroad and Ultimate have their own steerer tube standard, and you're stuck with Canyon parts. The CP0018 is a necessary part for customization, but Canyon hasn't sold it for at least six months.
I'm honestly wondering what's gonna be your count on Bizarre Facts About Scott Bicycles.
Is it good stuff, not douchey, cult prestige or bargain basement or is it lycra-poetry pretentious like some boutique Euro makers, with bit above Walmart-grade?
I do not trust Canyon. I wonder about their quality control systems and safety. they sent me a non usable bike because the seat post screw is missing and as it turns out, is not in stock. So I am sitting here with a useless non ridable bike. Stick with local bike shops. Canyon service is really frustrating and terrible and they do NOT care.

Now I know LaBron James profits from Canyon…I will never buy THIER crap
Come ride in America again…I will meet you
It's funny you talking about Canyon bikes and LeBron James while is riding a Cannondale lol
I LOVE deep dives on companies, I'd watch one of these for every single bike brand in the world. 😁🙏🏻
All good until you went down the ransomeware wormhole
It's more like that the thief put another lock over your bike at the cafe, and demand money to unlock it.

Customer service is worst in the industry. Proprietary parts are annoying as hell.
