Not a nice way to end the trip after only a few days, but the ice rink that is Sa Calobra had other ideas.
Thankfully we’re both ok, just a bit battered and bruised and sad watching everyone else ride their bikes in sunny Mallorca.
Not looking forward to telling Chad…

My S-Works Prevail saved my life about 10 years ago. Glad your helmets did the same and took most of the hit.
This happened to me so i pulled her hard left then hard right , she was trying to fight me, but i held on for dear life , next thing i know shes what we call in the cycling game, buckerooing , once again i held on for dear life . Ive idea how i ended up driving a bus , the police said i must have been thrown into the drivers seat . Someone had seaverd my helmet strap
,the detective said it was foulplay ..

I once crash at 2mph and jammed my thumb against the ground. The pain was still lingering around after 3 months. Well you guys look like you jammed your body and head against the ground and at a much faster speed. May the cycling God have mercy on you two.
Guys, I love that you ride bikes. Please go slower next time. Riding that fast in a curve is extremely dangerous, even for the pros. Stay safe! 🙂

If you have ongoing pain in your shoulder and private medical insurance, I know an excellent specialist at the Fortius Clinic. You may have ligament damage. I have suffered multiple knocks to my shoulders coming off bikes. I enjoy swimming too and thought it worth my while to fix them properly

I have seen so many crashes on that exact turn. It doesn’t look too bad, but you easily get a lot of speed just before and the turn is off camber, throwing you directly onto the rocks. Be careful out there!
to better learn from it. did both of you used the rearbrake going into the corner or do you use just the front? i live in hamburg and we have no descent here and i dont fell that confident going downhill in spain.
Hmmm, looks like the clip-ons kept you attached to the bike. Probably did you more damage than if you'd separated.

I rode Sa Calobra in octobre. Before I did this I saw your video. Because of this I had More respect of the descent then uphill. So I went down very carefully. I did this also, because I crashed with my motorbike when I was 19 (30 years ago). Since that Crash I Drive more carefull especially in curves… it was very Hard to Start riding again, but you have to. It is like falling off a horse. You have to Go back in the saddle… wish you all the Best… ps. Next year I will try to ride the Stelvio…ride on👍
