If you’re in a life or death fight, you’re not obligated to fight “honorably.” Sukuna didn’t cheat he used abilities that were legitimately his because he possessed Megumi’s body. That’s like saying a chess player cheated for using all their pieces. Did Sukuna need Mahoraga to beat that version of Gojo? Probably. Does that automatically make Gojo stronger overall? Not necessarily. Combat IQ is part of strength in anime. If Character A is physically equal to Character B but comes up with a better strategy and wins, they still won. Nobody says Batman is weaker than his opponents because he uses prep time.
