Done my fair share of guesting with various levels of paranoia. Not for everyone for sure. But I am getting too old to get busted and having to stand there like a naughty schoolboy, all embarrassed while some some angry estate owner with his shotgun yells my head off.

Questing a much better term than "poaching " …its just fishing at the end of the day …when i was a teenager "questing" was 90% of my angling because i couldnt afford tickets …im not a criminal but the term poaching makes it sound like it …✌️✌️

The casual disregard of "guesting" disturbs me, some fish and environments should be left well alone and those believing that that shouldnt apply to them should be held accountable.
