Cycling Perfect Paths To One Of Italy’s Most Romantic Cities

We leave the tiny but spectacular Calliano and our stay at the winery, to once gain head south along the Adige cycle path. As we continue on Eurovelo 7, the Sun Route, the landscape becomes more and more gorgeous, and we roll through yellow-hued villages and beneath the spectacular cliffs and mountains that surround this valley. Through vineyards and beneath sun rays beaming down from the heavens, we reach the pretty town of Dolce beneath a stunning fortification, and the BnB hosted by the lovely Emmanuella. As she sings her heart out to romantic Italian music, she makes us a dinner that has no equal in our memory, which we enjoy under the stars by candlelight. In the morning the Adige Cycleway takes us through a gorgeous gorge, at the mouth of which we finally leave the mountains behind us and we continue on to our destination. Verona takes our breath away, and we enjoy a rest day here, just taking in the magnificence of this age-old Italian gem. This journey of ours continues to leave us in awe.
