First time restoring vintage bike – tips for parts?

Hi all!

I’m going into the final phase for my dads old bike, a gitane super corsa from early 70s. Frame is being repainted (lacquer was way too far gone to call it “patina”) original with original decals and all. All components have now been serviced.

I look to ride the bike occasionally but also ride to look at it, of course ;). Not sure about the exact year of this bike? It seems early 70s based on comparable bikes, but not sure. Added some pictures of the parts to give an idea.

Now I have some questions am looking into sourcing some components:

I need to source the following parts, and I’m wondering if you guys have some tips on what would be fitting to the timeframe of the bike?

1. Bartape
2. Pedals
3. Brake cable housing
4. Chain
5. Saddle
