I just can’t believe how someone can sprint away from a group at that speed at the end of a stage & he’s not even breathing hard as he crosses the finish line,looks unnatural & sorry to say exactly how Armstrong looked when he blitzed the field.
Why does that complete chuff of a commentator insist on saying Alpa Duez instead of Alp Duez. He is sooooooooo annoying.
Tomorrow the GC gap between 1st and 2nd would be 10 minutes, likely.

Who want to kill the race ? a champion said that the crowd carry you and the last kilometer with barriers are the most difficult without the crowd; The crowd contributes to the legend of TdF the myth, all those spectators are coming from all overthe world in order to take part of the legend. Why not to put barriers and to sell tickets and to select the audience. No the TdF without crowd is way more poor.
Here is a solution for crowd control, especially for those sections when the crowds surround and slow down the cyclists. The motorcycle at the front cutting through the crowd should be loaded with a pair of large inflatable balls. Anyone who gets too close will be knocked out of the way. Spectators should be made aware that TDF is not responsible for any injuries they may experience. I know this idea may sound funny, but I am being serious.
I have other ideas for crowd control but for now I am sharing this one.
