  1. The Enviolo Automatiq has been available for more than 5 years. It has a sort of manual mode, but on the fly cadence adjustments are not possible. You have to set it ahead, which is just a little annoying whilst riding. I have it on a 20mph e-bike with a Bosch Performance Line CX motor — it’s great I prefer to ride my Class 3 as sometimes I need to go 22 or 23 mph with assistance. It’s rarely offered on Class 3 bikes, but it’s possible to retrofit for around $500 with parts and labor.

    A class three system with automatic shifting, and on the fly cadence adjustments requires a Rohloff e-14 system, but that’s a lot more expensive. Possibly Pinion can do this through another pathway, but I’m not familiar with their product, as they are not really available in the USA just yet…

  2. I loved that folding box. I actually hit the left arrow many times to watch how it folded: fascinating! I only wish you'd have shown it in slow motion. Anyway, that's something I'd love to have on my ebike.
