I completed my first solo 600k ride. This ride did not give me any credits and was not organized by any club, organization or institution. I completed the ride entirely on my own, self-supported, on a track bike without handbrakes. This was the final ride needed to complete my 3rd brake-less fixed gear Super Randonneur Series (1-200k, 1-300k, 1-400k and 1-600k ride in one calendar year). This route was the most challenging 600k I have completed and the time it took pushed my endurance and perseverance. It made me aware of what I am capable of as well as not capable of yet. The route was a version of the @pa_randonneurs, Bleu Kaundi modified to my preferences. All climbs were completed. Some gravel was ridden. It’s done now. Cinelli Vigorelli. 53/17.

Holy shit dude you are amazing. How many days total including rest and all
almost 400 miles with gravel and climbs on a brakeless 53/17 vig? What a fucking feat. You have my respect.

With these more aggressive positions do you have to stretch your back out a lot every so often? I ride a pretty relaxed position and I find myself cracking my back and stretching out pretty often even during short rides
🔥.
chapeau
Still so impressive man, congrats! 🫡
would love to see your strava if you’re willing to share !
