    If it’s not a cap, your hex bolt could be on the crown end of the steerer tube between the fork’s???

  2. Hope this is an old pic and you have since removed those damaged wheels everyone told you not to ride. Please don’t ride them

  3. Those are just held in by the compression of the steerer by the stem. Loosen the stem on the steerer and you should be able to slide it out by hand. Though you should do some research on the Time Quickset before you dive into that project.

    Time also did some too caps that were held in place with magnets and you could just take those off by hand.
