Poorly designed track, it's fun seeing people fall into the water but it would also be nice to see more people cross the finish line.
How many idiots does it take to Not tighten the goose neck? Most of the fails the front wheel twist sideways because of loose necks. The rest of the fails are front riders with no arm and shoulder strength. Also the pedals need to be in between strokes as they go over the 1st hump. Other wise the pedals hit the ramp.

Europe clearly designs better courses. The bell cord is not long enough for anyone to ring in the unlikely chance they do get there. Hard to watch.

In the short distance you can’t get enough speed and momentum to get over the first hump. Maybe they did it on purpose.😂
I watched a bunch of these videos in the past few hours, and this one seems like whoever designed this specific track did it poorly, especially the first humps.
Absolute worst ever track design in Red Bull Tandem Bike Race history. 97% of the competitors couldn't even make it more than 8 feet to the first hump so definitely the fault lies in the design and build of the track. It was more frustrating than entertaining to watch this event.
Between the track and design flaws of the bikes, most contestants didn't stand a chance!
The cross wind….is playing a big role! Half of those guys, look like they never even rode a tandem bike at all.
