What components? Can’t see the rear derailleur and front is gone. If the rd is XT then yes.

Good price even just for the frame.

If it works then it’s a no brained.

If it needs some work then that’s up to you and your skill.  Even just thinking it needs new tubes tires and cables could mean $100 more

For commuting if you don’t have a bike, sure. For anything else, pass

  4. Thats pretty sick, although I wonder how hard it’s going to be to get a front brake going.

For $50 I’d ride it home before they change their mind, the missing front brake is an easy $15 fix and those rigid Specialized hardtails are tanks

The stump jumper frame is worth $50 at minimum, I’d think closer to double that ( at least in my area) bomber fork is another $50 or more. The Mavic wheels are easily worth $75 used, the front hub on those wheels is super strong and they spin so smooth. Raceface crankset is $50 or more. Rear brake looks like avid which could be worth a bit depending on what model they are. Probably has a XT derailleur as most stumpjumpers did. It’s well worth the $50 even if it needs an overhaul. It’s the top of the specialized line for the time and is a great platform to start off of for rebuild.

Is it stolen? Cuz that’s worth quite a bit more then $50. Damn, I love mine, upgraded to a remote lock fork. Great winter bike

  8. Yep. Buy it. Even if the frames cracked you’ll get that much in salvage parts.
