I got on the back of a motorbike for the first time at 54… and this is one of our favourite rides through Norfolk.

In this video, we set off from Dereham and take a full day ride through some of the most beautiful parts of Norfolk, combining countryside, the Norfolk Broads, and the stunning North Norfolk coastline.
Our route takes us through:
* Wroxham and the heart of the Norfolk Broads
* Horning and Potter Heigham
* Great Yarmouth along the seafront
* The coastal road through Cromer and Sheringham
* On to Wells-next-the-Sea and Burnham Market
* Before heading back inland through Fakenham
Along the way:
* Open countryside roads and huge Norfolk skies
* Rivers, boats, and beautiful Broads villages
* Traditional seaside towns and coastal views
* Quiet roads, stunning scenery, and a perfect spring day
This ride is all about the journey — not speed, not performance — just being out on the bike, taking everything in, and enjoying the freedom of it all.

Many thanks for posting parts one and two, they brought back many happy memories of the times my wife and I spent down in Norfolk. We had a static caravan located in East Runton for many years and travelled those roads frequently. I'm also a recent "back to biking" rider (yamaha MT 07) but unfortunately my wife doesn't share your enthusiasm for riding although she pulls my leg and says she may ride pllion if I get a honda gold wing ! "I can't see that happening though"
I'm pleased you mentioned the Blue Sky Cafe in Cromer, we were regulars there and enjoyed the food and chats we had with visiting bikers. It is run by a lovely family who always made us very welcome. You're right, Norfolk is a lovely place with many quaint villages, you are very fortunate to have it on your doorstep. For us it's only about 3 hrs drive so we have re-visited it a few times since. We normally stop at the Golden Lion in Hunstaton. Keep up the good, maybe you can raise some more nostalgia for us. Best wishes to you both, Antony M.
