😍Sardinia is INCREDIBLE, but it can be tricky to plan a trip to because there’s not a *ton* of information out there on it compared to other destinations…
So we’re breaking down the one-week itinerary we DID versus the one we WISH we did! 😅
⬇️ WHAT WE DID ⬇️
✈️ We flew into Cagliari in Southern Sardinia and road-tripped up the Eastern Coast hitting the Baunei Coast, Olbia, Palau, + the La Maddalena Archipelago 🚗
BUT honestly, that was WAY too much for just one week in our opinion 🙈 So, here’s how we’d do it differently
⬇️ WHAT WE WOULD DO DIFFERENTLY ⬇️
Instead of trying to roadtrip a significant potion of the island, If we only had one week in Sardinia, we would:
✈️ Fly into Olbia in Northeastern Sardinia and EITHER
1. Focus on the Northeastern region of Sardinia, including the Baunei Coast, Olbia, Palau, and La Maddalena
🚨We created a FREE 7 DAY ITINERARY with every detail you need for a perfect itinerary.
For one week, this itinerary is much more manageable and relaxing than trying to complete an entire north/south road trip! We think northern Sardinia is the place to start on your first trip to Sardnia! 🤩
And of course, if you can swing more than one week, definitely explore the Southern region too—it’s worth it! 🩵

I would recommend go to one place with nice beaches, restaurants and bars. Stay there. minimum excursions. Less hazzke driving around, time that could be spent enjoing the beach, seaview et cetera.

That"s not a secret😅 Sardinia is huge.
As a sardinian i would almost agree. but i would add:
If you don't care about night parties, big clubs, luxury ristorants and you want have just relax and enjoy the nature south west is your target. you'll not get traffic, it's way cheaper (specially north west of sardinia might be litteraly esponentially more expansive).
Sardinia is massive more than 2000 km of costs. Mountains and nature inside You can come 20 times and visits all the time visit different places
