Hi,
Im trying to buy my first full suspension bike but Im mostly interested in some urban downhill.
Ive searched some marketplaces and stumbled upon a kross sign fr frame, Ive seen many videos of people jumping absurd heights and the bike held good.
Does anyone have experience with that bike? is it good, is it heavy? Its really budget friendly costing like 100euros, help a mate out please!!
heres the bike:

this is the frame
Looks a lot like an orange patriot, with a skeleton swing arm. Never heard of the company, but the design is classic with benefits and weaknesses. I’d google reviews on orange patriots/ early 5s to get a more balanced view?
Quick search suggests it’s probably 15+ years old, so likely not modern geometry, but to be honest for 100 euro for something to have fun on sounds good to me. I’ve got a Cannondale around the same age and it’s still fun to ride
Kross was a big free ride and dirt jump bike company in the 2000s and 2010s. The problem is that you don’t know what that frame has been through. Plus three stuff that it used is probably out of production or clapped.
Looks like an Orange. Those were sweet back in the day. More bike than what I was jibbing on when I was big into urban and urban trial. My only concern is the old suspension design and how much pogo you get. Those older FS bikes had a lot of suspension bob giving that pogo effect. Still fine if you’re on a budget and should be fine bombing stairs and medium drops to flat.
Looks like it doesn’t even have a through axle at the rear. I’d pass.
