I saw a dude with the wolfooth locked in bar ends at snoqualmie last weekend and now I want to try them, so I took a picture of how my hand wraps around my handlebar and came up with this. [Read about it here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7384042). I presume the wolftooth ones are way better but I'm taking these to my local dh trails tomorrow and I'll adjust them as needed.

Hey there. I’m a carbon fiber fabricator and I’ve made printed molds that do real life work. WATCH for print layer separation lines over time please. FDM prints have internal stress and the interfacing strength per layer is weak. A bit of sanding, fiberglass and epoxy across the layer lines can go a long way to arrest the cracking problem.
If you’re going to print and forget, please use the -GF or -CF suffix filaments, they at least greatly reduce to the layer weakness problems.
There’s a reason Wolftooth doesn’t print these.

No way I’d use PETG, stuff can break into sharp edges. Hit it with hammer like you hit a tree/rock and let’s see what kinda shapes could impale you. I’d use some super hard TPU like 78D.
That looks like it would hurt. I wear some gloves and punish it to see it it’ll hold up before I commit.
those radiating grooves on the back look smart, should keep it from spinning on the bar when you actually load up on it tomorrow
