The Royal Canal Greenway offers an excellent bikepacking experience, particularly for those seeking a scenic, flat, and traffic-free route. The greenway, which is the longest in Ireland, stretches from Maynooth to Cloondara, providing a 130 km (81 mi) path for cyclists. The route is generally level and surfaced, with minimal gradients, making it accessible for various riding abilities.
Is there anywhere nicer than Ireland on a sunny day?

Thoroughly enjoyed the Sight & Sound ✨. Wonder why the big road says No Cycleway😐. Thanks for doing all the hard work and sharing the rich history with us. Loved the cute choir at the end 😉
What station did you start at?
Fabulous. Thank you.
You were very lucky with the weather
Those gates coming out of Dublin don’t look very bike friendly . They need to be redesigned.
Well done, great video. But I didn't like the look of the bit from Athlone to Ballinasloe.
Tks!! I am planning to do this route in the future!
