Finally finished up this project. Swapped my old flimsy 3×7 set up with CUES 1×9.
Wanted to build a reliable and easily repairable commuter and definitely succeeded. It feels awesome, way stiffer and more lively. Love how the ishiwata frame feels.
Basically the only thing original is the frame, seat post and cantilevers but I did change my nasty old brake levers lol. Also found some mavic 231 with lx hubs in near mint condition

Super curious what bars and stem you’re running? They look great!
Ishiwas are magic, that frame will outlast every component you bolt to it. Mavic 231s with LX hubs is a sweet find too.
