The Albertastan government in Canada has opened up an online complaint form for people to complain about bike lanes that have infringed on their parking or driving routes.
I would hate to see anyone waste anyone else's time with trivial submissions.

Yyc bike commuter here.
I love my bike lanes i work in Ramsay and can use lanes pretty much the whole way to work.
I sometimes cut through DT and use the lanes on 12th and 15th ave and 2nd street.
This is our useless UCP government fighting pointless causes.
Even the mayor of Calgary commutes on a bike and posts about it on R/Calgary.
I have pointed out that the maintenance costs on car lanes ar higher than the maintenance costs of bikelanes. So in order to avoid wasting tax payer money well….
Shifter – Dean of Albertan Commuters – hasn’t reacted to this yet. Democracy is great until you realize you’re outnumbered.
Please note this official government site is for complaints only. However it does include a comment section, so I filled it out with the least offensive option complaining about drivers not respecting cyclist rights-of-way,
Done. What an asshole biased ‘complaint’ form.
I perverted it to address road hazards
I submitted my complaint :
*My concerns is bicycle democratize transportation, improve quality of life and affordability. They support local businesses and have been proven by data gathered all over the world to reduce congestion.*
*You fuckheads in government who support these inane and divisive initiatives are a bunch of cunts. Stop trying to make great cities worse.*
The problem with this form is that the Freeform comments likely won’t be read. My guess is that the government will look at the ‘reason for concern’ and the number of ‘concerns’, then make a headline about how ‘XXX people didn’t like XYZ’.
