Could be a great first bike, very entry level (fork components etc.). That’s not a bad thing because entry level but reputable brands are typically just as reliable as the higher end stuff, heavier and perhaps not buttery smooth but it looks like a good machine to start mountain biking on. It may be enough bike for you or you may want to upgrade down the line. As far as pricing I would say that’s about half of what that bike is new (could be way off, I work for a shop and I’m comparing to what we have priced). Can’t go wrong if you fit on it!
