Venturing into the world of bikepacking this summer, albeit a short UK trip.
Just bought the restrap bar bag, which has spacers, but the bag still touches the wiring. Is this an issue/how is it possible to change the wiring without significant additional expense? Have already spent hundreds on new gear/recent service etc.

Should not be a problem. All those bags touch the cables to some degree. If you want to avoid that you need something like the salsa anything cradle.
Try adding speed bars and the lifting a bag with strap. Works for me 🙂
