  1. Overpriced, proprietary bikes and toxic chemicals for cleaning them all just to ride on dirt roads instead of paved… Except you can do that with a 23mm singlespeed and not use chemicals to clean it.
I use water… and three rags to clean my road bike. I realized degreaser is ret*rded a long time ago. Not to mention the soap. You're not doing anything more than with just water and the brush.
We use enough toxic soap in the shower ffs.

  3. I think this is the sign that gravel bikes are just not for me. I see them as utilitarian tools to get around and to do fun multi day bike trips with. And yes, cleaning is pretty good but who gots time for that?

  5. I like the hook on the chain cleaner that lets it hold the derailleur while spinning the chain, I have basically the same thing but it just has a handle on the side to manually hold it in place.

  6. I will never understand why people refuse to use PROPER
aluminium mudguards, i fitted some black SKS powder coated mudguards, they go ALL around the "spray zone"
I even have the same tires, Schwalbe G-ONE ALLROUND.
85- 90% of the bike stays clean & the rider is 95% clean
