Hello guys.
Just reached Belgrade on my England to Istanbul bikepacking tour.
My final destination is Istanbul and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations on the best way to get there.
I'm not in any major rush, slightly ahead of schedule so far if anything – I've read about the "sultans trail" and eurovelo iron curtain route.
Which one is best? Or is a combination of the two better?

I’ve done the sultans trail, but only from Nis because I did not want to miss the iron gate on the Romanian border. I’d say this was the right decision, totally worth it. Oh and for the last stretch, from Luleburgaz I took the route via tekirdag and a boat. In Luleburgaz make sure to visit the local bicycle center and speak to Inanc, he will sort you out 🙂
