Sure! A bike is not like a phone or something – this will still ride just as nice as new bike, and a new entry level bike has essentially all of the same components. The only thing you’re missing is the crazy tire clearance newer gravel bikes have.
I think the price is fair for CAD and the Canadian market seemingly being a little higher price in general.
