I visited SPS in Barnsley and got a really friendly welcome. They let me try theit CFMoto 800 MTX, jsut the type of bike a lot of people warned me about. I wanted to make my own mind up.

Fantastic bike, I own a 800MT Touring, fast, powerful, surprisingly good handling and very comfortable. Love the quick shifter and cruise control. Chinese?? KTM Austrian engine, Japanese suspension, Spanish brakes but same people who make Brembo brakes. Bosch electronics….hardly Chinese! And the cherry on the top…exceptional value for money!
Just keep doing what you've been doing – I love these first impression rides. You have a natural way of bringing your experience over to the viewers 👍
It obviously did the most important thing any bike can do, it put a smile on your face!
Personally I think that if you have to change modes on a bike to smooth out it's performance or throttle in traffic, then it's not set up well, a good bike should be able to handle all the environments it's riding in imo 🤷🏻♂️

Had my cfmoto 450nk from new done the first 2 services and at 4500 miles at 1 year old hasnt failed on anything in the rain they cat tyees were cack but they have neen replaced with bridgestone s22 and its faultess not a single thing loose or habing to change or warch for i replaced the standard seat to the extra padded seat and added a quickshifter all parts ordered from china has take 7 to 10 days and has cost peanuts compared to the big brands the only thing i was put off was the bait and switch tactics cfmoto dis after the app changed from free if you bought the tbox at 300 quid and then changed to a yearly membership and they avoides all questions regarding it
I respect all bike riders whatever their ability, bike, background. Love ur channel. I find if anything all the yellow bib brigade with certain letters on are the most judgemental 😂. I have just gone down to a 250 scooter and no one nods 😂

The change in feel when cornering is most probably the tyres. Good review. I guess these new brands will get better and better
Please don’t buy anything built in China. Everything is controlled remotely by the CCP and has been banned or switched off globally
My CFMOTO 800NK is a brilliant motorcycle, resale value? I am not selling it… but if I did, I would actually not take s depreciation hit on it.
What people are saying about these chinese bikes is exactly what the older generation said about the Japanese bikes coming over in the late 60's and look how that went. Plus most of the chinese manufacturers have been building engines and bikes under licence for the big makers for years! For the money and kit you get compared to honda and such like they really cant be overlooked. Adventure bikes are not my cup of tea but some of the sports & naked ones look good.
amazing bikes i have the 800 mt sport and think its great i have had 4 of the newer generation cf moto bikes and have loved all of them and they have all been faultless only reason i have traded them has been a different model catches my eye

Dont cf moto compete in moto2/3 racing? Maybe style of bike gives higher centre of mass hence reason for handling. Everything you buy, top brands, all seem sourced from China, so if gives access to bigger bikes then why not! Hope you got your cameras returned, stay safe Andy🐈👍
Hi Andrew for the money it will suit lots of riders and it really did your road test well .. But the real test never gets done … I don't even think the manufacturers do this knock it off its side stand and see what breaks I think you will be shocked if you were allowed to do this what snaps off they don't seem to have the bounce capability like the Japanese manufacturers do . The only person I've see do this was typical of what can happen just by a missed footing … that biker Simon did after a road test it was a very slow slip off but he would not have been able to ride it home if that had been a day out for him and his partner … I say this because I was ask to do a job on a Chinese bike a 250 cruiser some one reversed into it knocking it off it side stand the items that snapped off was unbelievable if the repairs had been down to the insurance it would have been a total loss write off and the bike was a current year with less than 300 miles showing on the clock just food for thought Great video regards steve
Comments about you not being a propper rider what a load of bollox no body is a propper rider people ride to there abilitys and what makes them happy ive been riding since the 90s and i dont consider myself a propper rider because they dont exist doing a great job on this channel and your other channel you and your good lady are mint keep doing what your doing
I recently purchased the Voge, they build engines for the f series BMW and produce 2.3 million bikes a year, CF basically build for KTM, they may in fact be the majority holder now. Can't knock my Voge or any of the new Chinese brands.
The 'wind screen' it looks at most 6inch across surely it cant make any significant difference. Its more as a protective screen for the tablet screen behind it id say.. 😮
I have a 800mtx as asecond bike over the last 8 days I rode from the UK all over the alps and back, I put 3000 miles on the bike and it was flawless, I owned an 890 adventure and it was riddle with electrical issues.
Only major issue for me was the heat that comes from the fans deflectors are a must. I love the bike I didn't hold back on punishing it either so much better once its properly run in and it runs on fumes. I understand the worries but I am truly impressed and ive been riding 30 years on road

Andy, the larger front wheel gives you the impression of a greater lean angle, i had a Tiger with a 21 inch front, that was the same, felt like i was falling over at first, but never dragged a peg.

Been riding 45 years. Bought a Voge DS900X last Sunmer – great bike.
Japanese and Europeans are building loads of parts in China, allowing Chinese manufacturers to have great supply chains.
America and Europe have woken up to the fact, that all their industries and therefore jobs are going to the far east,, and God knows what the future generation is going to do to earn a living.
We can enjoy Chinese heavily subsidised motorcycles, but our Grandchildren, will be jobless, and yes it's happening now.
It's like a guy pointed out it's a ktm 790 engine just like the voge is the bmw engine
My previous comment refers Andy, and what I should have said, I agree with your assessment on the MT-X. Just very good motorcycles for very good prices. Recently had a look at the new 1000 MT-X in a showroom. What a beast! My 800MT Touring is more touring focused than off road as such. The new model with adaptive electronic suspension looks impressive! I am using mine as a sport tourer as I'm not experienced or very interested in off road. The paniers clip on very securely and are top quality. As a sport tourer, it's a blast! Greetings to Clare!
I’ve had MT800 Explore for two years now, been touring around Europe and it’s been great. It’s a little on the tall side for me, but has all the gadgets and luggage you need for touring. Let’s hope the CFMOTO brand grows and grows.
