I've been getting into cycling after a couple year break. I am in the market for a vintage bike.
What would you guys choose this 80s Nishiki prestige or this Cannondale sr 500? I'm looking for a sturdy bike I can ride for leisure instead of training. I'm also looking for a project as well as I want to learn how to do my own maintenance.
I'm based in Arizona and have been searching for Nishikis and rarely see them, I specifically like their build. I'm leaning towards a Nishiki but the Cannondale looks sick.
I'm going to view them soon in person. Nishiki is $150 and cannondale is $200. Nishiki is steel frame and cannondale is aluminum, both look like a decent amount of fixing but nothing alarming and both frames are my size.
