Slowly moving to organised team sports, the olympics is already this way.

Xgames is a team sport now, they had a draft a few months ago. They got bought out again and this them switching it up

If they’re gonna have the riders wearing jerseys again they could at least get them in ridiculously garish 90’s style ones, these just look like boring football T-shirts.
I think it’s good for the sport. The sport is still wide open for people who like to compete and for people who just bang out awesome video parts. It still has the freedom that it always has but I don’t see anything wrong with people being able to compete in teams. If you look back in the day, there were still “teams” by sponsorships. You had Mirra and nyquist on haro. I think exposure is good for us. But in the same way, I can see where you’re coming from. It’s odd to see names like Garrett Reynolds now on “team”, and it feels like the freedom of it being a one man sport is slipping away.

If it leads to riders getting paid, it’s not going to impact your or I in the slightest – but it will make life better and easier for the guys we love to watch, who make this sport what it is. What’s the harm?
