That drainage channel is a perfect spot for this. Flat concrete, walls for the screen, and that sunset doing half the work for you already. Setting up a projector and just rolling bikes in feels way more fun than fighting for a parking spot at some drive-in.
Love the mix of rigs in the first shot. Cargo bike with what looks like a cooler strapped on, recumbent, fully loaded tourers. That’s the whole point of this kind of ride, everyone brings whatever weird setup they want and nobody cares if it matches.
Second photo has that golden hour glow going on too. Looks like you all rolled out together once the movie wrapped up. Did the neighborhood give you any weird looks, or are folks out there used to seeing a parade of bikes by then? I bet the kid on the sidewalk waved at every single one of you.
