The Double Mullet Setup combines the low gear of a typical 1x MTB setup with the high gear of a Road double setup.
To make the road shifters work with the MTB derailleur, a 3D printed pulley is used to convert and change the pull rate. The road shifter is basically emulating the Deore MTB shifter.
With some tinkering and out of the box thinking, there is no such thing as derailleur limit.

I’ve been running and old 2X9 setup for a decade, 46-34 chainrings with 11-36 cassette on a Deore derailler and inverted B screw

Do you have details on the RD pulley? Would you share the files?
I’m curious about the poles on your frame bag as well. Are they structural to the bag or part of your tent?
Is this because you hate pinion transmission?
