  1. Which piece of new tech caught your eye the most in Part 2? Are you Team Specialized Tarmac SL9, the new Orbea Orca Aero, or that mystery Ridley prototype?๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ”ง

  2. The rule makes sense. If you need a scissor to take out a component, you cannot "lose it by accident". Else, one could mount a heavy computer (and a small one), and then throw away, or "lose", the heavy computer and have a lighter bike. Also, the transponders have the identical weight for all bikes, so they would not give any advantage or disadvantage, be they counted or not in the "official" weight.

EDIT: There is also a final weight and apparently accidents are not taken into account. So, giving the computer to the car and getting it back seems a much better strategy, as suggested.

  3. If you can get an Aero bike down to 6.8kgs, what is the point of a climbing bike in the TdF? Other than for us mere mortals and getting the weight below 6.8kgs, so a marketing job?

  4. What's the point of a "climbing bike" with a weight limit of 6.8kg? Can build up an aero bike to that limit without having to drill holes in everything.

  5. Arnaud De Lie – HaHaHa. LOL, LOL. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
That dude should not even be at the TDF. It is not a race for him….at all.

  6. There is no need or place for climbing bike in the pro Peloton, maybe for hill climbers, records attempts or enthusiast but Pros have no need for that bike. 5 years too late and zero future . You know why tarmac SL9 is such a coveted bike? because the more you look at bikes like the Riddle or Orbea you wish was something in between that looks better, lighter, as fast, more comfortable and fantastic resale value, that is why Tarmac SL9 is the GOAT of all road bikes

  7. If, every even year, you say that climbing bikes are in, and every odd year you say that aero bikes are back, then youโ€™ll have material for your videos for eternity.

  8. lol I have had a gold waxed chain on my 2015 Specialized Tarmac SL4 ages long before Remco – looks bling but he is late to party on the gold chain drama๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
