Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a tyre hook system like in the picture, but for a deep wheel on a racingbike. My wheels are 62mm excluding tyre. So total will be around 100mm. I just can not find any hook that will go with this wheel dept. Does anyone know one?

fwiw, some deep wheels don’t like that and will get dented
I don’t know any, but I’d imagine one would not be too hard to DIY either. Also, is the rim itself deep or does it use some sort of aero fairing separate from the rim? If latter, I am not sure you should use a hook on the wheel like that as they are often not structural and hooking the bike from them could potentially damage them.
I have these hooks and i dont like how hard they feel on my gravel tires. I probably woulnt use them on high and expensive carbon rims. Don’t know if i dont trust carbon enough, but it doesnt feel great hanging my bike on there
I have the same lifeline/generic cheap ones pictured and have hung a bike with 67mm rims up just fine.
I have these on:
50mm wheels with 32mm tires
40mm wheels with 45mm tires
36mm wheels with 2.1 tires
Yeah I’d rather not do that with carbon wheels.
Get something like Steadyrack proflex, not cheap but prolly best.

I made my own out of wood and used a dowel to secure the wheel in place
Been there with the deep rim problem. On my old bike the front was 50mm and I could never find a hook that didn’t make me nervous every time I lifted the bike up there. The weight of a full bike on a carbon rim just isn’t worth the risk if you can avoid it.
If your front wheel is the deep one, flip the bike and hang it by the rear wheel instead. Most road bikes have a shallower rim in back, and even with 28mm tires you’re looking at maybe 50mm total depth, which any standard hook will handle. That’s what I did and it worked fine for years.
The other option is a horizontal wall mount that cradles the top tube. Way better for expensive rims since you’re not putting all that weight on one narrow point. I switched to one after reading too many stories about people cracking deep section carbon from hook storage. Looks cleaner in a small space too.
