Miyata 310 vs trek 728 vs Bridgestone 700 vs nishiki cresta. Looking for a nice vintage steel road bike for medium length rides, city cruising, and group rides. I picked out these that are all my size that I’m interested in within a variety of price points (ignore the Bridgestone listing being “56 cm” I asked the person for more info and it’s a 19 inch frame). Any thoughts? Hopefully I would be able to get the trek or Bridgestone people to come down a bit in price but if anyone has had experience with these bikes or has any input I would love to hear what you have to say!

I had a Bridgestone 700 many years ago, and it was a great bike. I think the nishiki is the most useful bike here. You’ll get a bike that’s built to haul things and still would not be a tank on the road when unloaded. The deciding factor for me is the cantilever brakes on the cresta- you could fit a larger tire and fenders in there, make it more comfortable.
