Straight off the back of the Milton Keynes Marathon, this probably wasn’t the most sensible idea…
With no real structure, legs still recovering, and confidence built entirely on one suspiciously good treadmill session — I somehow ended up on the start line of the Hemel Hempstead 5K.
This course is no joke:
• A deceptively easy start
• A serious climb early on
• Then a fast, flowing second half where anything can happen
Oh… and let’s not forget navigating the Magic Roundabout just to get there 😅
How did the legs hold up?
Was it a smart decision… or a terrible one?
Watch to find out 👀

They say pain is temporary, glory is forever; Rob says I’ll take 4th & intact knees thanks very much. Not as catchy but more relatable.
