Making some upgrades to my Cervelo soloist including new ultegra 8100 brakes. I’m changing cables and housings and the old rear housing is frozen onto the plastic ferrule that come out the rear of top tube and to rear break. I soaked in pb penetrating fluid for a few hours but won’t budge. I don’t want to damage the plastic as this part is likely impossible to find and I don’t yet want to have to attempt to 3d print it. Any ideas on other ways to gently get it un stuck? Maybe some heat?

Cut housing as close to as possible to the ferrule. Grab needle-nose pliers, pull from cut end? Wiggle and jiggle? Chances are it will come free.
