the reflective tape pulling double duty as a strap and a safety light is so resourceful. i watched the gif a few times before i spotted the bungee cord that’s the real workhorse under all that silver. i once tried to zip tie a six pack to my handlebars and spent the whole ride home with cold cans bouncing off my knees, so i respect the backwoods engineering that went into this. the bare housing rubbing against the headtube is the only thing i can’t unsee, but i’ll just look the other way. the whole setup looks like something i’d cook up after a couple beers and a trip to the hardware store. i might have to steal the tape idea for my own bike, it’s like a beacon and a cargo net all in one.
