something a bit different for me, VLOG style content recorded over 5 days during a summer trip to Cyprus.
I’ve visited the island many times over the last 15 years but never cycled. I always enjoy riding outside of the UK, so in an effort to avoid seizing up with a couple of open TT’s planned, I decided to research.

Bike was supplied by https://rideeasybikepaphos.com
very easy to deal with, booking online includes selection of available bikes, availability and reservation.
not limited to road, they also offer gravel and MTB. for all types of riding you will find some handy routes on their website.

overall enjoyable trip which served it’s main purpose of avoiding injury.

despite temperatures actually being a couple of degrees lower than the normal average, I wouldn’t recommend a specific cycling trip June-August as it’s simply too hot. Cyprus would be pretty perfect though early spring and autumn. if you’re lucky, the winter might be ok too

  1. Mate, We're off to Cyprus in August for a couple of weks, mainly to visit my sons girlfriend (met on the internet and never met in person) I was wondering about hiring a bike but I think it might be too hot. Did you take your own helmet and shoes or did you hire those as well?
