Need some advice if possible! I’ve started having some mild lower back/neck soreness issues after riding for a few hours. Nothing serious, but at a point where it’s starting to get annoying. I am less than 4 months into this sport, and I am wondering if my form is poor (causing these issues), or if this is somewhat inevitable due to riding a hardtail. I’ve attached a few videos to show the type of obstacles I usually spend most of my time hitting and my form. Thanks in advance for any advice/clarification!

Definitely not because if the hardtail, and looks like bad form. Bend your knees way more. Looks like you’re bending over at the hips and bending your neck pretty hard to see where you’re going.
I don’t know the answer to your question but just saying it’s weird to see IRP on here!
Really hard to tell from this video so I’ll address both.
Form – your spine should be neutral and you should be hinging at the hips. It looks like you might be doing more of a squat than a hinge, and at one point it looked like your spine was arched instead of neutral. Actively check in with your core/glutes as you ride to make sure your core is supporting you.
Bike – Hardtails do hurt, especially when you’re casing jumps. You can mitigate some of that by learning how to absorb more with your legs/arms. But ultimately you do take somewhat of a beating, which is why I don’t own one.
