  1. Aluminum frame, rim brakes knock the value down alot. Confused why they didn’t list the spec level for the drivetrain (Claris, 105, etc). The wheels are a little gimmicky imo. My market would have this at 250-350 depending on drivetrain spec. Probably a really fun bike to ride.

    No, I don’t think so. The listing seems incorrect, the picture shows a Campagnolo drivetrain that looks like 9 speed veloce, the entry level at the time. I would think $200 to $300 at most. It’s a decent bike, but maybe not the best choice for you. The gearing is quite high by today’s standards, and even putting a more appropriate cassette (rear gearing) will cost around $100 installed at a bike shop. I don’t think you’d be happy with this bike.

  3. $200 bike. Its old, the parts are old, and the replacement parts when needed (big things like a shifter) are going to be weird to source.

    Don’t spend $500 on that.
