Hey folks. My friends invited me on a super last minute bike packing trip later this week. I was able to get a frame bag and a saddle bag off Facebook marketplace. But I need just a tad more room to fit an extra pair of socks/food stuff. Was curious if anyone has good recommendations for a decent handlebar bag that isn't crazy expensive? Was thinking about just Voile strapping a wet bag to my bars but wasn't sure if that would get loose over the course of three days of riding. Was looking at a salty/sweet roll but have been reading mixed reviews. The outer shell harness system looks neat though and maybe more secure if I just wanna strap a wet bag to that? My bars are narrow at 38cm due to a wrist injury, so not sure if that limits options or not. Thanks!

Do you mean 380 mm (i.e. 38 cm)?
I’m a big fan of aero bars for touring, and if you’re riding long distances after a wrist injury, I’d strongly recommend them. An additional benefit is that you can strap things underneath the aero bars. For example, you can simply hang a handlebar bag there without needing a fancy mounting system to avoid scratching your head tube. (I like [this one by Arkel](

), which you can detach and wear like a purse during stopovers.) Or, you might be able to strap a tent there lengthwise.
