I recently changed the seat post clamp to an aftermarket one. The look is nice but now during my rides I have noticed the post slowly creeps downward requiring regular adjustments. Seems I will need to return to the original one. Has anyone also experienced this?

Sounds like the clamp isn’t tight enough.
That bolt might be slipping or you didn’t set it tigger enough.
I’ve replaced like 60% of my Pline with aftermarket mods but I won’t ever touch the seatpost clamp because the stock one lets you know how close you are to Brompton’s recommended limit on tightness but with aftermarket ones, you have no idea.
Slipping seatpost is a common issue with Bromptons and a lot of us solved it with putting a second clamp on top.
