What started as a scenic bike ride from Larissa to the beautiful beaches of Agiokampos and Platamonas quickly turned into an absolute survival mission.
I am currently editing this footage, and I cannot wait to share the journey with you.The temperatures in Central Greece spiked well over 40°C (104°F), turning the tarmac into an oven. But the heat was only half the story. Along the way, this ride threw some of the most unexpected contrasts at me:
🪺 Nature’s Wonders: Passing nests filled with baby storks.
✈️ Screaming Skies: Fighter jets roaring directly overhead, breaking the silence of the Greek countryside.
🚧 The Bridge Obstacle: Coming face-to-face with a destroyed bridge, forcing me to carry my Canyon bike across by hand to keep the journey alive.
🌊 The Reward: Finally hitting the coast and cooling off along the massive, stunning beaches of the Aegean Sea.
