I have a gravel bike but sadly don’t make it out to gravel much. Was riding tubeless and then got a puncture I tried to plug but unsuccessfully. I really don’t ride on gravel much ever so figured I’d save the tire and just throw tubes in. With this size hole, do you guys think that’d be ok or is it too big/ will wear on the tube, debris will get in, etc….

I’ve had luck with using a butyl tube patch (specifically the park tool ones) to patch the inside of a GP5000 tubeless. Just clean up the sealant in that area, put the patch on, throw the tires on a wheel with a tube in it got a few hours so there’s pressure while it’s drying then take the tube out and put sealant back in.
Got many more kms out of that tire since then. Idk if things are different with the flexing for gravel though so ymmv.
