  1. I wouldn't bank on any new segregated cycle lanes coming to Bayswater unless it is already well into construction. New council administration have pulled the plug on all the planned schemes

  2. So about 1000 interactions with drivers using their phone, there was 1 normal and polite one. Pop the champagne!

    Nice society we live in.

  3. Sorry ain't good enough and neither is 6 points, using the phone while driving should be a minimum 9 points & a £2000 fine, (well everything else is going up so why not this?)😅

  4. I'm afraid there is not good news about the Bayswater Road segregated cycle lane. The new Conservative cabinet member in Westminster announced at the council meeting on 17 June that it won't go ahead and they were going back to the drawing board. Elections have consequences.

  5. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MIKEY !
I've just read the telegraph article by James innes-smith whinging and whining about cyclist "busy bodies" reporting "minor" driving infractions to the police and complaining that local authorities are augmenting their income by persecuting drivers. It's interesting that even by his own admission 90% of the infractions are successfully prosecuted by the police which somewhat undermines the argument that these "vigilantes" are not serving a useful public service in their attempts to remediate poor and dangerous driving practices to make the roads safer for all of us.

  6. Stuck in traffic or red light for a minute? Phone out, scroll instagram etc. Such an addiction. Phone drivers should be banned from driving!

  7. 1:42 Pretty sure the woman in the blue car thought you called her good looking, thus the cheeky smile.😉Mikey is a smooth criminal and he doesn't even know it.

  8. Putting the phone back on their lap: as sure sign they use it pathologically and have no intention on driving with respect or responsibility.

  9. Simple catch.
I think those who go on about cyclists and bikers filtering either live in a different country, probably one where it's illegal to touch water, or they simply don't leave their basements.

  10. Excellent work yet again Mikey 👍🏻🚲✊🏻
Another totally avoidable and expensive life choice for someone 😮
    🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤷🏻

  11. I dont understand why anyone would take the risk at all, anywhere – there are cameras everywhere that could catch you, not just Mikey. I cycle and drive. I NEVER use my phone while driving because the risk is too high – both getting caught and the danger. I reckon phone use should be called “driving without due care and attention” because thats exactly what it is.

  12. People care more about satisfying their tiny brain signals than any consequences that come from using a stupid piece of plastic while driving, humans really are going backwards.

  13. I was in a cycle lane and got doored by a taxi letting their passengers out whilst still in the live traffic lane, so completely understand why you don't want to ride between the parked cars and the traffic.

  14. I'm amazed at how most people are focused and resigned to their fate in a potentially stressful environment, I am continually impressed with London driving.

  15. What happens next? We all know that Mike is going to catch somebody on the 📱; jumping a red light or other shenanigans.
For those that don't know – they'll soon find out.

  16. Even on the outside of moving cars can be dangerous. I was passing a car that had slowed to a stop at lights and as I got level with the back of the car the rear offside door swung open and took me out. I was lucky that I wasn’t run over by oncoming traffic.

  17. Yes NEVER cycle inside the car door zone is what I avoid but one motorist did not see it that way with me and nearly drove into me just as a protest because he thought I should not be so far out in the road.

  18. The lady you caught on her phone didn't even argue. 😂 You know what's going happen? Yeah, I do. Amazing how they still take the risk. Would a mandatory ban and a larger fine be more appropriate?
