Snatched a pair of Elitewheels Gravel Aero+ from AliExpress. 45mm deep, 32mm internal width. They weighed 1414g without tape and valves (subtract a few grams for the little rubber axle protector I forgot to remove when I weighed them). Massive upgrade from the heavy stock alloy wheels which served me well for 17.000 km.

They were shipped from Poland to Denmark in 7 days and in total it cost me 730 EUR (830 USD). What a steal damn, they feel super high quality and well built, but then again I never owned a pair of expensive carbon wheels before so I wouldn't know what to compare to. If I were to nitpick, wish they came with the tubeless tape pre-installed, it was included in the box though.

I paired them with the Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RH, the new hardpack version with a slick middle, in 45mm. They measured at 47mm on the 32mm internal rims.

  1. Looking good man! It’s a big upgrade for the design with deeper rims. Is it worth the price to upgrade or not is the question?

Got the same wheels! Crazy fast – mine weighed in under 1400g though… I kept the stock 55m G1 RS Pros on my Ari Shafer.

Are you at all concerned about the 45’s? ETRTO thinks the min width should be a 58. The concern is that the sidewall would be to flat I guess and maybe you’ll get a bead blowout or something.
