I’m planning to ride a section of the European Divide Trail—from Hamburg to Denmark, with Aarhus as my destination. I’m now trying to figure out the best way to adjust the EDT route to get to Aarhus. Does anyone know the area well and have any tips for me? Gravel roads prefered.

I went along the National Cycle Route 5 (the blue line) from Vejle all the way to Frederikshavn last summer and really enjoyed it. There was a good bit of gravel mixed into the asphalt, heaps of shelters along the way, and plenty of villages with a supermarket to get food and drink. Plus I went swimming in the ocean every day!
