Finally built up the 5th iteration of my beloved Specialized Crossroads from 1991. After 8 years on rim brakes I decided to embrace modernity with the help of a good framebuilder and a new fork! So pumped to finally ride it again, going from 700c to 650b looks like the best decision for now. HMU for questions, build details and comments about my floppy front bag :')

yooo sick build!
Is this a stridsland fork in the front?
Tell us about your gearing…
that pink pops hard in the sun, looks great against teh stone wall too. i’ve been eyeing a crossroads frame at my local co-op for months and this is probably the push i need to finally grab it. the 650b conversion was a solid call, way more cushion on rough stuff without going full squish. curious how long the framebuilder took to add the disc tabs, that kind of work usually has a waitlist right? also that bar bag is massive, respect actually loading it up with real gear instead of just a snack and a phone. eight years on rim brakes is wild though, you must’ve been overdue for the upgrade
