Looks good looks fast. I’m doing a SRAM X5 1x with an 11-40t 9 spd and a 38t ring with outer guard too but on a newer Gary Fisher.

I would’ve used a longer stem; front end looks like one of those persian cats with the smooshed-in face. I dig the silliness of low-count aero spokes and bonkers.
